Fidesz-friendly media outlets did not necessarily need readers to attract billions in government advertising
Despite their minimal readership, Viktor Orbán's Cabinet Office spent billions of forints on placing ads in several papers over a four-year period. The back-to-back propaganda campaigns cost ten to fifteen times the market rate.
