Orbán-era cultural minister detained over corruption charges

Balázs Hankó is suspected of having allocated public funds-a total of more than 47,6 million euros- for purposes other than those specified by law. Some funds ended up in the hands of Fidesz-affiliated circles, and some were used to fund campaign events.
